Lynn Sawyer - Principal

Lynn trained at the Arts Educational School in London having won a Scholarship and trained alongside Liz Crowther, Cheri Lunghi, Jane Seymour.
 

Being totally committed to the school and with a dedication of a wonderful team of teachers, the studios have flourished and become the success it is today.

Lynn’s work with television, theatre and teaching has given her the insight into the requirements of today’s professional performers, encouraging each student to develop their talents to their fullest potential.



Kim Barrand - Artistic Director

Kim trained with London Studios and has worked extensively in television and Theatre in London and Europe..

With credits such as 'Live at Her Majesty’s', 321 with Ted Rogers, Royal Variety shows, Kim also performed as one of The Brian Rogers dancers for many years alongside Jimmy Tarbuck, Jim Davidson.

As Artistic Director Kim has led many productions such as 'Fame', 'Bugsy Malone', 'Annie', 'Zodiac' at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London and The Disneyland, Paris Showcase.

Stuart Wren - Head of Drama  L.G.S.M

As Head of Drama Stuart has work extensively with students covering many areas including LAMDA examinations. Stuart has written many scripts and directed productions such as ‘Time After Time’ Bloomsbury Theatre, ‘Stepping Out’ Towngate Theatre and ‘Mask of a Thousand Eyes’ Her Majesty’s Theatre.



Julia Vaughan – Head of Dance AISTD

Julia trained at The Arts Educational School in London and has gone on to performed in numerous professional shows in England and abroad.

As Head of Dance Julia works alongside the students helping them achieve their grades and major ISTD examinations.

Julia has been with Ridgeway for many years teaching Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance and during that time has choreographed many Productions including: The Nutcracker, Stepping out, The Little Mermaid and Alice in Wonderland.
